Modern Warfare 2 becomes Call of Duty again!

So it's been a while but everyone heard that Modern Warfare 2 had dropped the Call of Duty prefix. Well guess what... It's back!

That's right everyone, Activision confirmed that Call of Duty had been added back to the title, along with what looks like a new box art (which is rubbish by the way ;) )


I much prefer the older Promo case (Which I posted some shots of in an earlier post)

Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2 is the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. We have focused our attention on Modern Warfare in order to most effectively communicate the fact that this is the first true sequel in the Call of Duty series. Infinity Ward, the original creators of the Call of Duty franchise, has said from the beginning Modern Warfare 2 resides in the Call of Duty universe. This is reflected in the title's package.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Pre-order poster and promotional case!

Here are some pictures of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Pre-order poster and promotional case! Game UK are currently holding an instore promotion where you simply have to pre-order the game (PS3 or xbox) and you get a free poster signed by the development team (no not real signatures)

as you can see they where kind enough to give me a second poster, if you are unlucky and unable to snag a poster for yourself (its first come first serve) you might be seeing it up for grabs on here in the near future ;)
